Five Ways to Use Pumpkins in Your Wedding Decor
/It’s (almost) fall, y’all, and who doesn’t love a gorgeous fall wedding?
When I got married in 2017, we wanted a fall wedding but didn’t want it to feel like it was *fall themed*. I think a lot of people feel this way - they want to pull in some seasonal touches without overdoing it!
Pumpkins obviously scream fall, so we decided to use white pumpkins as table numbers! I loved how they turned out!
Here’s some more ideas to incorporate pumpkins into your wedding decor:
Table Numbers
Like I just said - pumpkin table numbers are a great way to add a touch of fall to your decor! Use white pumpkins (real or faux) for a classic look, or orange pumpkins for even more of a fall vibe!
Centerpieces
Use pumpkins as part of your wedding centerpieces! Use a large pumpkin with flowers on top as a show-stopping accent; or use a few small pumpkins to make a pretty tablescape.
Place Cards / Escort Cards
Get mini pumpkins for your place cards / escort cards! Use real pumpkins and tie the name cards to the stem - or get faux pumpkin place card holders, and use them to hold your paper place cards!
Signage
I wish I had thought of this for my own wedding! Use pumpkins as your signage - for anything you would use a sign for. Signage ideas:
Welcome sign
Sign our guestbook
Cards & gifts
Open bar
Last name sign (example: The Andersons est. 2017) - BONUS - use this in your home forever as decor!
This is a unique way to bring a little fall into your wedding and your guests will definitely be posting these to their Insta stories!
Decor
You can also use pumpkins throughout your ceremony or venue space as decor! There’s so many options for shapes & colors (you can even paint them) to get the look you want. Whether it’s big pumpkins along your aisle or little mini pumpkins scattered around the dessert table, this is a pretty way to pull in the season!
You really can’t go wrong with adding some pumpkins to your fall wedding decor! Can you think of any other ways to incorporate pumpkins into your wedding? Let me know in the comments!
